SummaryPatent holder of patent #6,123,778 and have applied for a patent on tool for retrieving plunger from gas wells receivers (lubricators). Publication # on that is 20130126188. Decision expected in May 2014. April 2015...It was a year later than hoped for but I received notice from the USPTO that my patent application was to issue "on payment of the issue fee." It will be 30 to 60 days from now but it is a done deal! The claims on the patent application are for an oilfield tool which will lift a plunger from a well head. Better yet, the tool will allow the plunger to be replaced in the lubricator on top of the master valve without dropping the plunger. All 17 articles of the claims were accepted, no revisions. I will update with a number when it is issued.
