SummaryI am a graduate of UNC Wilmington with a major in Environmental Science (with honors) and a minor in geospatial technology. Currently, I am about to start school at Newcastle University under Dr. Per Berggren. I hope to work towards a Ph.D. in the coming years. My future career goals center around cetaceans and pinnipeds, hopefully within organizations such as NOAA or the New England Aquarium. I really enjoy research and would love to study topics such as marine mammal behavior and migrations in more detail. I was fortunate enough to study manatees during the summer of 2016 with the Mote Marine Laboratory Manatee Research Program. There I learned various aspects critical to the field of marine mammology including attention to detail, database upkeep, photo ID, and boat care, among other skills. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions or opportunities.
