In the ARMY I was promoted to the rank of specialist in 2005, with that rank came direct leadership and responsibility over my soldiers. In 2009 I graduated the Noncommissioned Officer Academy. My resume shows that I have been consistently seeking and obtaining higher education and chances to better myself, most recently with my certification of Fire Instructor I. With a background of seven years in the military I attained life experience and critical thinking skills that make me well suited to deal with daily challenges that is the emergency services. My prior experience as an EMT 3A and certification as a Nationally Registered Paramedic as well as an Adjunct Professor for the Paramedic Academy at the University of Alaska Fairbanks have provided me with adequate experience and development.
