SummaryI work at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC). ANTHC is a consortium of all the tribal health entities in thhe State. I am the Emergency Preparedness coordinator. In that capacity we help trbes and tribal health organizations develop and improve their emergency plans, programs and capacities. During a disaster or emergency we help Alaska tribes, tribal health organizations and all others affected by a disaster. Before my work in emergency preparedness I was very involved in environmental contaminant and climate change issues.
It has been a incredible honor and privilage to work for and with Alaska Natives. Alaska Native cultures are a vibrant and precious world treasure.
