SummaryI am a senior studying Environmental Engineering with a minor in Environmental Policy & Culture. During my undergraduate years, I have worked for the U.S. EPA in the Water Division where I reviewed and entered data on over 300 Class V shallow injection wells. Presently, I work at Northwestern’s Office of Sustainability where I designed a campus-wide survey to assess transportation issues and feasible alternatives to single-car drivers.
I hope to take an active role in the fight against climate change through a combination of policy and scientific research. I became interested in chemical engineering after participating in a summer-long synthetic biology research project and listening to other presentations at a global conference, where my team presented our work. Currently, I am in the process of applying to graduate programs in Chemical Engineering to further pursue my passion of working on economic sources of alternative energy.
I am seeking post-graduate employment in the energy industry with a focus on alternative fuels or energy policy.
